About Forma

Born in Houston, Texas, Forma Systems combines advanced fabrication technology with hands-on manufacturing expertise to produce custom metal components, from individual parts to full production runs. We live and breathe American manufacturing, serving American industry wherever the work takes us.

From a clean cut and an accurate bend to a consistent weld and the right finish, we focus on the details that make a part work. That attention guides every stage of fabrication, supporting dependable quality and service. Deadlines matter, and our word matters more. We quote realistic lead times, move with urgency, and deliver when we say we will.

Scope

Custom sheet metal and tube fabrication, from laser-cut components to formed, welded, and finished assemblies. We bring cutting, forming, welding, and finishing together to support everything from individual parts to repeat production.

Production

Utilizing our 35,000 square foot manufacturing space, limitations do not exist. Individual parts, short runs, and full production. We’ve refined our processes to handle changing volumes without sacrificing precision, quality, or turnaround.

Finishes

From brushed and polished finishes to paint-ready surfaces, we use automated finishing processes to deliver consistent results and the surface quality your part requires.

Service

We don’t shy away from difficult parts. Custom tooling, challenging bends, process changes, drawing reviews—we’ll work through the problem and find the right path forward.

Laser Cutting

Our 12 kW sheet laser and 6 kW tube laser combine cutting power with the flexibility to handle complex profiles and detailed features. With cutting speeds exceeding 1,000 inches per minute on suitable materials and geometries, we keep production moving while delivering clean, accurate parts ready for forming, welding, or assembly.

Precision Forming & Bending

Accurate, repeatable bends for demanding parts and production work. With 200 metric tons of forming force and a bending length of up to 162 inches (13.5 feet), we handle a broad range of part sizes. Real-time angle measurement (LAMS) helps compensate for material variation and springback guaranteeing tight tolerances every hit.

Laser Welding

Clean, controlled welds with focused heat input to help limit distortion. Laser welding supports consistent results and reduces the amount of post-weld finishing required.

Surface Finishing

From brushed aluminum to polished stainless steel, our automated belt-fed finishing process delivers a consistent surface across every part—whether you need a handful of components or thousands.

Assembly Features

Features that simplify fit-up and help reduce assembly time, including tab-and-slot construction, dog-bone features, angled through-holes, tapped holes, and countersunk holes. Each detail supports accurate alignment and repeatable assembly.

Formed to fit. Built to perform.
